We feel so lucky to have Annie Novak on our side. Annie, the co-founder of Eagle Street Rooftop Farm, is also the assistant manager of the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden where she teaches kids about vegetables, gardening, good food, and so much more. Learn more about what made this fashion-obsessed Chicagoan take on one of the more non-traditional jobs in New York City, urban farmer.
Those urban farms look amazing and to think in this country(UK) the government is think off giving local councils the power to sell urban allotments - small garden plots for those without gardens - for development.  It’s just wrong.
